Julie's fine art has been chosen by museum councils such as LACMA and MOCA and sold at museum and art events throughout the country. Her pieces are in private collections and have been seen at LACMA's California Design 1930–1965: "Living in a Modern Way," Neiman Marcus, Venice Art Walk, charity auctions, among others. She combines her writing with conceptual work in mixed media and welded steel or aluminum.
